Spaulding Looks to Put Loss Behind Them

The Spaulding Crimson Tide look to put Saturday's home loss to Hartford behind them, as they take a long bus ride to St. Albans tomorrow.

A lot changes in a year, and this year's Spaulding soccer team can second that.  A team that only won 2 games last year, has already improved their win column in its first six games (3-2-1).  "Compared to last year the team plays smarter and works on moving the ball forward, not forcing it," said coach Rob Moran.  "We do a much better job keeping the ball and we finish much better."

Coach Moran placed Sophomore Cameron Rossi-Crete as a Center Back this season to help solidify the back, along with Junior, Hunter D'Agostino.
The Tide still look to improve on possession and quickness of play.  Seniors, Seth Wilmott, Dalton Routhier, and Lucas Heath Howe look to lead the way up top, as Senior midfielder Mitchell Yacavoni is questionable due to a back injury.

Now, I don't know much about BFA, but their team is stronger than their record suggests.  They've had losses to three fundamentally sound teams; Colchester, Burlington, and Missisquoi Valley.
Spaulding is looking for their fourth win in five games, and not feed a St. Albans team who is hungry for their first win of the season. "I think that we'll use Saturday as a wake up call to take every team serious." said Senior co-captain, Lucas Heath Howe.
